More of San Diego...

Just hanging out in Nona and Papa's RV. Emma loves to lay on the floor and stretch out and look all around. She is becoming very aware of the world around her. This is the afternoon we went down to Embarcadero. This is in San Diego bay. There are ships and different sites to see. Here are some family pics, it was nice to have my parents with us so that we are all in a picture......usually I am behind the camera! Emma enjoyed the views from the Baby Bjorn......I think she pretty much slept all day.
This is a statue that was made from that famous "soldier kissing a nurse" photo after WWII. It was huge...as you can tell by us standing near it.
Behind us here is the USS Midway air craft carrier. It was the longest serving air craft carrier of the 20th century. It served from 1945 to 1992----47 years!! It carried 0ver 75 aircraft and had over 2000 crew.
Josh and I (and Emma) took a self guided tour of some of the old---(not in use anymore) ships from long ago. Behind me here is the Star of India. It is from 1863 and is the world's oldest active ship and a California and National landmark.
A day at the beach. The weather was so nice while we there, of course we had to spend some time at the beach. It was not warm enugh to enjoy the water though (well we put our toes in).
