Not too much new here.....some updates on what the girls are doing right now. Kaylee is doing very well with her "tummy-time" and is SO close to rolling over. I think she just needs the confidence! She gets her whole body almost over and then.....rolls back onto her back (tummy to back is a lot harder for her). I've been helping her out a little so so knows that everything will be OK if she does it. Several times I've found her in the morning on her side, swaddled and all. She is just as smiley and giggly as ever. She is also consistently sleeping through the night.
Emma is a ball of energy. She is SO busy, all the time! She loves to explore everything and never sits still. She has become a little "mother". She takes care of Winnie or some other doll by putting them in Kaylee's carseat, swing, booster seat, or feeding them her crackers, sippy, or Kaylee's bottle. It is very cute. Sometimes when I'm holding Kaylee she wants to hold her or have me put Kaylee in her carseat so that she can rock her. Still LOVES to be outside, and she has learned that not everything she puts in her mouth tastes good!
Baby #3 is doing well. I have also started to feel him/her in the past 2 weeks---little "butterfly" flutters. I went to the Dr. again and heard the heartbeat and had a general check-up. Besides my blood pressure things are going fine. My blood pressure is on the border of normal/high, so it is something I have to watch. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with Emma. Anywhooo---I have already gained 6 lbs......but that is WAY better than with Emma (probably because I am not sitting on the couch all day!). All my maternity pants are still WAY big, but most of my regular pants don't fit either (thank goodness for Belly Bands). I have definitely popped out though. My students still haven't asked me anything yet, but kids rarely notice those kinds of things until it is REALLY obvious. So, things are looking good. I still have to remind myself at times that I am pregnant, it's been so easy so far, I'm not used to it, hopefully it continues that way!
I guess that is it. I have a student teacher right now who has "taken over" for the next four weeks. Though it is nice, I'm getting a little bored trying to keep myself busy while at work--hence all the writing on today's blog post, I'm working on it here at school keeping myself occupied!
