Emma Ramona Warner was born on December 19, 2008 at 6:17 pm. She was 6 lbs. 8 oz. 19 in. long. My water broke at 2:15 am and Josh was not home! He was in Las Vegas so my parents had to come and get me. Of course Josh was frantic, I think I was more calm than he was! He caught a plane at 6:30 from Vegas and made it to the hospital by 10:30, just in time to hold my hand while I was getting my epidural. After the epidural the rest of the labor and delivery went well. I pushed for about an hour and then Emma made her grand entrance. The 3 year wait to have her was worth it!
So fun to have some of these little birth details...your water breaking with Josh not home...making it in time. An hour of pushing. Fun!
