Updates for Daddy.....

Josh has been gone a lot the past few weeks, so if you (whoever out there is reading) have noticed me posting more than usual it is for him so he can see what his girls are up to. We've also been having fun because I am not working so that to I guess! Nana watched Kaylee the other day while Emma and I were off at her appointment and she captured some cute pics of Kaylee.

Yesterday we headed to Westminster to see our friends Susan and Jack and to join them at the swimming pool. Though we don't get to see them near as often as I wish, whenever I am off we try to see each other a couple of times. We have a "date" next week also, but they are coming to us....to keep it even! :) This was the best I could do to get Emma and Jack. Emma (the little stinker) just wouldn't look at me. Isn't Jack so cute?

AND....exciting news for Kaylee. We can officially say she is crawling! I captured just a bit on camera, Enjoy!

1 1/2 Years Old!

Emma is 18 months old! I can't believe it! We had her 18 month check up, so her latest stats are: 30.75 Inches Tall (24%) 24.6 Pounds (52%) 18.5 Head Circumference (64%) New tricks for her.... -Climbing on everything -Helping to clean up -Loving on her sister -Stealing toys from her sister -Has a mind of her own and she knows what she wants! -Saying more words, still not a lot....understands a ton, just can't say everything she wants yet and this definitely frustrates her when I don't know what she is trying to tell me (though I'm getting much better!) -And...just being as adorable and sweet as ever! Josh and I are so lucky to have these two beautiful and smart girls in our lives!

7 Months Old

Kaylee is 7 months old today! So what are some of her new tricks???? She can sit up from on her belly or back.

She can scoot to where she wants to go. She is so close to crawling, she takes one or two "crawls" on her hands and knees and then plops back down. For a week she has slept (naps and night time) unswaddled. Well her arms..... not her legs yet. We've had to take this slowly, one arm out....two arms out....and maybe her legs next week???? I've tried the legs, but she just plays with her feet and flings her legs all around--thus not going to sleep or staying asleep! Is busy, busy, busy! She has to be doing something or have something in her hands at all times, otherwise she will definitely let you know! She is pretty laid back, but will let you know if she is bored and needs company! That's all! She is still just as cute as can be of course!

Water Fun!

So this morning we headed out to a park near our old house that has several water features that you can play in. Perfect "free" fun! Nana Pamela met us there, so it was much easier on me. Warning---there are quite a few pictures....had a hard time keeping the number down to a few, and with Josh gone, I wanted him to see all the cuteness of his girls! Before the water is on...Yay! Playing!

Zoo Fun with Family

On Monday we enjoyed going to the zoo with family! We went with cousins, second cousins, and Aunties. We had a great time spending more time with everyone. It is all Josh's family so it was nice that I could get to know them better and spend time with everyone, I'm just sorry Josh had to miss out. Waiting for everyone at the front entrance.

Wedding Time!

Yesterday we headed down to Colorado Springs to John (Josh's cousin) and Candace's wedding. The weather held out during the ceremony so we didn't get wet! These were the best I could do on the picture taking. Candace looked beautiful and John---handsome!

John and Candace's two foster daughters took part in the ceremony as well, what cuties!

Reception Time!

Emma found a new love....Reese Pieces! I think she had about 500 of them, I had to start hiding them. BUT--they did give her a second wind!

Kaylee was of course there also. She sat with Aunt Peggy through the ceremony. Josh's family was such a help with the girls!
