A little about me......

So today I am 25 weeks and 4 days along in this pregnancy. I usually don't want any pics taken of me, but this might be my last pregnancy and this blog has turned into my journal and baby book for the girls.....so I thought I would put myself on here (not a great pic, but it will do)! I went to the Dr. today and everything still looks great. My blood pressure is still high so after my 28 week visit I will be going in every 2 weeks to be monitored. I had to do that with Emma to. Not looking forward to that! Besides being tired---I have been feeling great!

Fun With Papa!

Grand Junction

Josh was in Grand Junction for the weekend and instead of him trying to make it home for the weekend it was easier for us to go see him. So, I packed up the girls and we left Saturday evening and left Monday morning. Quick little getaway, but we had fun.
It was so hot on Sunday, so we spent a lot of the day in the pool. I forgot to pack suits so Emma just has on her swim diaper with a tee-shirt and Kaylee has on just her swim diaper and hat! Still cute! Emma went swimming last summer, but wasn't too sure about it this time! When we were in the deeper part with her where she couldn't touch she held on SO tight! Kaylee did well, as soon as she got use to the nice cool water!
A rare picture of all of us, not sure if I love it, but that's OK!

Sprinklers and Plains Conservation Center

On Saturday Emma and I headed into town to the Plains Conservation Center. On Saturday mornings you can see the animals (chickens, cows and sheep) and feed them. Kaylee stayed home and hung out with my parents. It was nice to have some one-on-one time with my Emma Bean!
So would squat like this to take a good look at the animals. This is when she is looking at the cows. They are far in the distance. I didn't get any pics of her close to them, because up close these cows were HUGE Emma wasn't quite sure about them! We did feed them though, but Emma was holding on for dear life so I couldn't get any pictures.
She did love to feed the chickens....couldn't get enough of it!
See...squatting again!
On Saturday morning Emma discovered the sprinklers! This was quite early.....I don't even think Kaylee was up yet!

Summer Time!

It is finally summer and we have been enjoying ourselves. This first week of break we've just stuck around home. I've been really tired so haven't really felt like doing much. But we have plans to see friends, go to the zoo, swim, etc. in the weeks to come, so I'm just enjoying the time at home (and not having to do my hair, put in my contacts, or wear any make up!). My parents have been parked out here for the past several weeks, so it has been nice to have an extra set of hands when I need it....especially at night! They are great at putting Kaylee to sleep!
We have been playing lots outside. Emma loves water and anything to do with water. I've been looking for a water table on Craigslist, but until then a container will have to do and I think that is just fine for her!
Kaylee likes to watch her sister and play on the porch in her exosaucer.
Kaylee is always so smiley, so a few cute pics of her.
Kaylee wants to crawl, but doesn't know how to put it all together yet, but as you can see here I don't think it will be long. YIKES....two little ones on the move, hope I can handle it!
A little of Kaylee's giggles. She loves to laugh!

Bye, Bye Tucker

We had to find Tucker a new home. It has been a sad week. He just keeps snapping at kids. He has never broken skin, but there could be a first and I can't watch him every single second. He is really a great dog about 95% of the time, so it makes me so sad! The office manager at my school has taken him, I know where he is and that he is in a great home, but it doesn't make it any easier. Just posting this makes me cry!
