This is where Emma spent her first day at home. Sad for us...it was hard to lay her in there when all we wanted to do was hold her. At this point we were hoping this would only last a day (and it did). We took Emma in the next day for a blood test and we got the all-clear! Her levels came back great and she could finally wear clothes and continue with her life---without the lights!
This picture makes me laugh. I really don't think she minded the warm lights, it was Josh and me who didn't want her under them.
Who knew she could smile already!
Enjoying some time with daddy outside of her suitcase of lights. We were allowed to take her out for short periods of time (30 min or less).
Our sleeping beauty, looking a bit yellow, but she also takes after her dad with her coloring. We think she will have a more olive
skin-tone like Josh, and NOT light ivory-almost white
skin-tone like me!
