It has been awhile......

Oh my...it has been about 6 weeks since I have last blogged!  Things have been very busy... been busy living and haven't really had the time to blog. When I do have time I seem to be zoned-out or sleeping! I also started a new grade level this year and I seem to be doing more school work at home than I usually do.

Anywhooooo!  On to some pics over the last few weeks....well pics that are not our vacation...that is next!

First up Mallory!  She is turning into quite the stinker!
Still a sweety, but has temper and knows EXACTLY what she wants!

Enjoying some early morning snuggle time on the couch...watching something on Disney Jr. I'm sure
These two snuggling together.  Mallory adores "her Emma" as she says!
We made some flubber! Here is us having some fun with that.

More snuggle time....Mallory and Emma again!
Mallory LOVES her baby...takes her everywhere!
 Kaylee-Bug!!!
 Mallory and her Lovies!
In August we went to a BBQ at Josh's Aunt's house and we had a fun afternoon with family.  Not too many pics though! The girls loved playing with the fountain and adding some pretty flowers into it!

One square of the couch for each girlie! Look how sad Kaylee looks!
 Bathtime!
Emma is our earliest riser in the morning.  After she gets up she comes and lays in our bed to watch some cartoons while I get ready for work. When I don't have to work we get some snuggle time...just her with her daddy and me!
We made it to the zoo to finally see the new elephant exhibit...we actually went twice in a month! The girls love the zoo and it is great outing to be outside and enjoy our nice weather

Not sure what is going on with Emma here, but she does not look happy!

Playing in the little stream. We probably could have done this all day!

Ending our day with some yummy ice cream!

Model Train Museum

In my9 days off between school years...and that is counting the weekends) summer we were busy every day trying to do something each day. We headed up to Greeley to see my very good friend Shelbi and her son Jackson.  We don't see each other near enough! We had a fun day visiting the model railroad train museum and then hanging out at her house.

Thanks for a fun day Shelbi and Jackson!

Georgetown Loop Railroad

The girls had a fun day out with Daddy while I was still in school!  They headed to the mountains with some friends who were in town and rode on the Georgetown Loop railroad. Josh took our niece Hope to help out with the girlies. From what I got out of the girls....they loved it! I just wish I hadn't had to miss it!

Our friends Mike and Suzan and their girls. They were visiting from South Carolina.
An attempt to get all the girls!
 Peeking out the train!

Summer is Here!

So summer is here!  We have had some very hot days already and have had fun in the water. The girls love anything "WATER"!
And of course time at the park!
A few weeks back we went to the Elizabeth Stampede. We started the day off with a fun parade that went through our little town. The girls love parades and we got lots of candy, it was like Halloween.
Kaylee and Mallory waved at everyone!  I call it their Miss America wave.

Horses!  They all LOVE horses, but especially Kaylee. She even got to pet one...but I missed the pic of that!

Later in the afternoon (after a rain delay) we headed to the rodeo. We got these great red cowgirl hats.  Aren't they cute.  This is after we are enjoying a funnel cake before going home.

Silly Kaylee!

I am finally getting to a post all about my Kaylee-Bug!  I did one about Emma and Mallory already and wanted to do Kaylee also, but did not have many pictures of just her! She has been a little stinker lately in that department! So these are what I have from the past month or so!

SO....what is Kaylee up to these days?

-She is a little stinker!  She knows what she wants....and she wants it NOW!
-She has to do things "ALL BY MYSELF!!!!"
-She has a bit of a temper on her, so we are working on using our words more!
-Is tall....almost as big as her big sissy (or maybe Emma is short?)
-Is officially potty-trained and has been for 6 months
-Loves to sing! Some favorite songs are ABCs, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
-Loves to dance
-And my favorite....is still a little snuggle bug. She will just come up and want a hug, and she gives the BEST hugs!
-Last......I say "I love you Kaylee"....and she says "I love you too Mommy!"....melts my heart every time!

She LOVES brushing her teeth (or maybe just eating the toothpaste?!?!?!)

This is of her "twirling" in her "pretty dress"....as she would say!
 With her favorite cousin Hope
I love this one because this is sooooo Kaylee and her classic "rascal" face!
 Just being a cutie-patootie!
 "Hello Mommy!"
Another classic Kaylee face....isn't she just adorable!!!!
The following link tells a little bit more about her birth mother and what a wonderful woman she is.  If interested in "meeting" her click here. Then when you get to site scroll down a little and then click on the video to hear her story.  Kaylee watched this video with me and LOVED IT!!! It is almost as if she knew this person was important....she could not take her eyes off of the video!

I know I have said this before....but Courtney will always be a part of our family and she is forever in our hearts! Thanks for such an amazing little girl!!!!
