A Night with Nana and Grandpa!

Last Sunday we headed to Nana and Grandpa's house in the mountains. This has been a house they have been working on for a very long time....so this was our first "over-night". It was great to get out of town for the night and what a beautiful house it is! There is not a lot of furniture yet and this was perfect for the girls! They could run and yell (it would echo), and just have fun! Thanks for having us!

So the girls woke up early the next morning....they were in the same room as Josh and me and they just stayed in their bed reading, giggling, and talking to each other. Josh and I could of course hear them but we were just enjoying "ignoring" them so we could doze in and out for a few more minutes before getting up for the day. It gave me a glimpse into our future when our girls will be doing sleepovers...so fun!

I didn't do to well with the pictures! Next time I will get more of the house!

Tiny Town

A few weeks back we headed up to the mountains a little bit to Tiny Town. What a great time we had! It is the perfect place for our little girls! Tiny Town has been a place I've wanted to take the girls, just hadn't yet. Then I read about my friend from school (Abby) and her boys going and decided we needed to go! Thanks Abby! So we headed up Saturday morning with my friend Jamie and her daughter Essence. We also met Jeremy, Laurie, and Hope. We enjoyed an ice cream cone at the end of the day. This was the girls' first cone. They have had ice cream before, just never a cone...they loved them!

What a great day! Definitely a place to go to again!
