Summer is Here!

So summer is here!  We have had some very hot days already and have had fun in the water. The girls love anything "WATER"!
And of course time at the park!
A few weeks back we went to the Elizabeth Stampede. We started the day off with a fun parade that went through our little town. The girls love parades and we got lots of candy, it was like Halloween.
Kaylee and Mallory waved at everyone!  I call it their Miss America wave.

Horses!  They all LOVE horses, but especially Kaylee. She even got to pet one...but I missed the pic of that!

Later in the afternoon (after a rain delay) we headed to the rodeo. We got these great red cowgirl hats.  Aren't they cute.  This is after we are enjoying a funnel cake before going home.

Silly Kaylee!

I am finally getting to a post all about my Kaylee-Bug!  I did one about Emma and Mallory already and wanted to do Kaylee also, but did not have many pictures of just her! She has been a little stinker lately in that department! So these are what I have from the past month or so!

SO....what is Kaylee up to these days?

-She is a little stinker!  She knows what she wants....and she wants it NOW!
-She has to do things "ALL BY MYSELF!!!!"
-She has a bit of a temper on her, so we are working on using our words more!
-Is tall....almost as big as her big sissy (or maybe Emma is short?)
-Is officially potty-trained and has been for 6 months
-Loves to sing! Some favorite songs are ABCs, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
-Loves to dance
-And my favorite....is still a little snuggle bug. She will just come up and want a hug, and she gives the BEST hugs!
-Last......I say "I love you Kaylee"....and she says "I love you too Mommy!"....melts my heart every time!

She LOVES brushing her teeth (or maybe just eating the toothpaste?!?!?!)

This is of her "twirling" in her "pretty dress"....as she would say!
 With her favorite cousin Hope
I love this one because this is sooooo Kaylee and her classic "rascal" face!
 Just being a cutie-patootie!
 "Hello Mommy!"
Another classic Kaylee face....isn't she just adorable!!!!
The following link tells a little bit more about her birth mother and what a wonderful woman she is.  If interested in "meeting" her click here. Then when you get to site scroll down a little and then click on the video to hear her story.  Kaylee watched this video with me and LOVED IT!!! It is almost as if she knew this person was important....she could not take her eyes off of the video!

I know I have said this before....but Courtney will always be a part of our family and she is forever in our hearts! Thanks for such an amazing little girl!!!!
