December Happenings!

We've been busy and having lots of fun for the past couple of weeks!
Look at this Christmas cutie!
Emma was old enough this year to help decorate a gingerbread house. I would tell her where the candy should go and she would stick it on.
The girls got dress up stuff for Christmas and here they are with the jewelry...and they took it over to where Mallory was laying so she could be involved. You can't tell but Emma had put a bracelet on Mallory's wrist.....too cute!
We headed out to the zoo lights the day after Christmas. That was fun and the girls were so cute all bundled up. Emma had to go "potty" while we were there and she did awesome waiting until Josh got her into a bathroom and all unbundled to go.....no accidents! She is awesome!
Kaylee WOULD NOT keep her gloves on or keep her hands under the blanket....they were freezing. You can see how red they are in the picture.
Mallory all snug in her seat. Of course she was cranky towards the end and I had to carry for the last bit.
One of our best presents---a wagon! The girls have loved this. This is on Christmas day. We have been having lots of fun going on walks....or even just to the mailbox!
Aunt Rachael and Uncle Adam got the girls cute monkey Christmas jammies. This was the best pic I could get off all three of the them. They wore these all Christmas day (and the next day!).....minus a few hours when they were in their Christmas dresses.

They got a dress-up trunk from a friend of mine so here is Kaylee with an outfit and some jewelry on.
Snuggles with Grandpa
Emma has been loving her kitchen. Here she made snack for her and Kaylee--with a little tea!
Kaylee likes to sit in the chairs this way and then watch TV. I will turn her around, and then she will get herself out of the chair turn it back around and get in this way. So---I've given up!
Mallory is just as cute as always. She is such a great baby who loves to watch everything that her big sisters do.

Potty Training!

The day after her 2nd birthday....we officially started potty training! Emma was definitely ready and has been doing awesome with only a couple of accidents (which mostly happened on the way to the bathroom). When she has to go she says "Poopy"--for whatever she has to do! Our blue-eyed princess is getting so big! I am so proud of her.

TRACK OFF!!!!

YAY!!!! I am off work for 5 weeks! So excited to spend time with my girls and to not have to get up and rush around to get three girls (and myself) ready for the day!
We are having fun getting ready for Christmas....first up seeing Santa! Emma and Kaylee were NOT having it. Luckily Jamie and Essence came with us. Kaylee was not about to let go of Jamie and Emma had a death grip on me as well---so we are in the pic with all the kiddos! Looking forward to more Christmas fun....building a gingerbread house, baking cookies, wrapping gifts, listening to Christmas music, watching Christmas shows, and to just being at home! Milk Please!
Fun with Daddy!
Gotta love the diaper and underwear with the socks....they love to be naked (don't all kids?)!
Look how much fun they are having! Love my girls!

Happy 2nd Birthday Emma!

We celebrated Emma's 2nd birthday here at home with some family and friends. It was a small gathering, but such a perfect day. This year Emma knew what her birthday was all about...."cupcakes", balloons, and PRESENTS! She had such a great day. We started the morning off with seeing a bunch of deer right outside our back door. Emma was waving to them and saying hi to them. Later we had a bunch in our front yard. It was so nice outside we played outside all morning and then some more in the afternoon...crazy---is it really December?
Emma's big present was kitchen here she is cooking with Kaylee.
Emma knows what presents are now. Though I did have to remind her that after taking the paper off to look INSIDE the box to see what it is. She just liked taking the paper off. So cute!
She got some dress-up jewelry and high heels. Let me tell you---she does surprisingly well with the heels, better than me I think!
See the backpack???? She knew just what to do with it (thanks Dora!)
Another great present--a dollhouse.
Cake Time! Emma knew just what to do with the candles (though she had a bit of help blowing them out from cousin Robby).
Testing out the frosting.....she gave Gram some!
End of the night. A rare picture of me with my three girls....in their matching PJs.
This is right before going to bed. Had to put the heels on again and notice she has the backpack on......she went to bed with it.
Passed out after such a great day! What a wonderful 2nd birthday!
