It's a.........

GIRL!!!!! We have another princess joining the family! When the ultrasound lady told me, I really wasn't surprised, so maybe deep down I knew?!?!?!? When I told Josh, he wasn't really surprised either. He is just destined to be around women the rest of his life!

TGIF!!!!

I am not sure why but this week seemed extra long and boy am I ready for the weekend! Nothing too new here just a weekly update on the girls.
I just thought this was funny of Emma. She was smiling right before this....I swear, but by the time the camera clicked this is what I got. Emma has been getting some new teeth for the past few weeks. Her 1st molars. Of course she won't open her mouth (and hold it open) for me, so I found this picture to tell which ones she now has. She has her bottom and top Central and Lateral incisors. Just got her 1st molar on the bottom, on the right side, and the left side is about to break through any day now. I'm sure her top molars are not far behind. That has been the pattern with her. She usually gets the bottom first and then the same ones on the top. She has yet to get the top and bottom Cuspids yet. So....if you are counting that is nine teeth (almost ten). The molars have been the toughest yet, she has been a trooper though, we have gone through a lot of Tylenol. Poor Emma Bean, I can only imagine. Anyway---that's an update of her teeth.
I actually got a picture of both girls together!
While I had the camera Emma kept saying "Hi" and grabbing for it.
Emma got these magnetite rocks from Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Laurie, and Hope while they were visiting. She loves them....so a couple pics of her playing with them. She played with them for about 25 minutes while I made dinner.
Emma helping with Kaylee's bottle (even though Kaylee was finished).
Kaylee's face after her "helping"...
.....and we're all clean again!
Kaylee can sit up for about 30 sec. all by herself. She can also officially roll over from her back to her belly. Can't quite do belly to back yet.
I got this little Bumbo seat off our classified ads through work. Never really needed something like this for just Emma, but with having two little people and a third on the way I thought this would a good place for the younger ones. It is super nice to put Kaylee in it when I'm cooking, dealing with Emma, or whatever I need to get done. She loves it! She can sit straight up and see all around.

A couple of pics for Daddy

Josh is gone again and wants to see a couple of pics of his girls, so these are for him. Things have been pretty uneventful around here and I am slacking on the picture taking, but I have a couple.
Emma got a stroller, a baby swing, crib and carrier from Jamie and Essence on Thursday. This was the BEST thing ever for her right now. She is so excited about carrying and pushing her babies around, and taking care of them.
I'll leave you with a couple of cute Kaylee pics, her smile is just as sweet as always! She also turned 5 months old today.
Gotta love the tongue!

Not too much new here.....some updates on what the girls are doing right now. Kaylee is doing very well with her "tummy-time" and is SO close to rolling over. I think she just needs the confidence! She gets her whole body almost over and then.....rolls back onto her back (tummy to back is a lot harder for her). I've been helping her out a little so so knows that everything will be OK if she does it. Several times I've found her in the morning on her side, swaddled and all. She is just as smiley and giggly as ever. She is also consistently sleeping through the night.
Emma is a ball of energy. She is SO busy, all the time! She loves to explore everything and never sits still. She has become a little "mother". She takes care of Winnie or some other doll by putting them in Kaylee's carseat, swing, booster seat, or feeding them her crackers, sippy, or Kaylee's bottle. It is very cute. Sometimes when I'm holding Kaylee she wants to hold her or have me put Kaylee in her carseat so that she can rock her. Still LOVES to be outside, and she has learned that not everything she puts in her mouth tastes good!
Baby #3 is doing well. I have also started to feel him/her in the past 2 weeks---little "butterfly" flutters. I went to the Dr. again and heard the heartbeat and had a general check-up. Besides my blood pressure things are going fine. My blood pressure is on the border of normal/high, so it is something I have to watch. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with Emma. Anywhooo---I have already gained 6 lbs......but that is WAY better than with Emma (probably because I am not sitting on the couch all day!). All my maternity pants are still WAY big, but most of my regular pants don't fit either (thank goodness for Belly Bands). I have definitely popped out though. My students still haven't asked me anything yet, but kids rarely notice those kinds of things until it is REALLY obvious. So, things are looking good. I still have to remind myself at times that I am pregnant, it's been so easy so far, I'm not used to it, hopefully it continues that way!
I guess that is it. I have a student teacher right now who has "taken over" for the next four weeks. Though it is nice, I'm getting a little bored trying to keep myself busy while at work--hence all the writing on today's blog post, I'm working on it here at school keeping myself occupied!

Happy Easter Everyone!
It was a pretty quiet day around here. This is the first time EVER that my family has all been out of town, so it was just the girls and I. I love being with them, but truthfully it was a little depressing! We made it to church in the morning, both girls looking their cutest of course. It never fails whenever I am at church without Josh, someone always takes pity on me and helps me bring both girls into the church. Emma will walk to the door herself, but it takes FOREVER! Anyway, a nice lady helped me with Emma (luckily she doesn't have too bad of "stranger danger" yet) and I took Kaylee. And then after church a friend of mine helped me out to the car.
Best pic I could get of Emma's outfit....she won't sit still for me!
After church we found Easter eggs. I really didn't know how this was going to go. I hid them in obvious places where Emma could see and showed her what to do. She loved it!!! I think I hid the same eggs over and over about 5 times! I only did hard-boiled eggs, I didn't buy any plastic ones. Those probably would have been better, our hard-boiled ones were a bit beat up! But she had fun! A friend at church invited the girls and me over to her house for lunch. That was great since we didn't have any plans. We only stayed for about 2 hours though, and I didn't get much adult time....but it was nice to get out of the house for a bit. We also missed their big Easter egg hunt because the girls had had enough and needed to sleep! Lets put it this way Tiffani's house is only like 3 minutes from our house and both girls were OUT by the time I pulled into the garage!
Tonight at dinner Emma was making Kaylee laugh, I thought it was cute. Enjoy!

Kaylee's First Cereal

Easter Eggs!

Easter Eggs and First Cereal

Emma dyed her first Easter eggs and had a blast doing it! Last year she was so little so we didn't really do anything for Easter. She still doesn't know about the hiding and everything.....the Easter Bunny is still coming though, we'll see how finding the eggs goes tomorrow! She loved the orange and yellow and her hands were dyed by the end!
Getting fancy with some stickers! Emma was trying soooo hard to get the stickers on the eggs, but I ended up having to stick them on, I think if they were bigger it would have been better--but she was determined look at her concentrate!
Finished!
Kaylee was with us enjoying watching us. After one of the eggs had dried I gave it to her to see how she liked it.
Today we tried a bit of cereal with Kaylee. She seems to like it. I don't think she actually swallowed any, but she had a good time. I'm not too serious about it, just thought I would introduce it, and she has a ways to go before she knows what to do!
